I would like to welcome your student to Physical Education for 2017-2018.
Our goal- Build your child into a Fit and Healthy student!

Requirements:
Medical Excuses: If your child is going to be out of Physical Education for any amount of time they must have the following:
3 days per week 40 minutes per session
What is my child going to learn?
Our program focuses on fitness and skilled based athletic performance. Our units of study run 2 to 3 weeks in length.
Typical Week:
Day 1 and 2- Fitness warm-up play 10 minutes- Soccer Skills and small group play
Day 3-Fitness activity 5 to 25 minutes and 15 minutes of soccer play
Individual and Team Challenges- once per month students will have a chance to compete in a Physical Athletic challenge for certificates and prizes. Ask your student to show you there certificate!
Fitnessgram Testing- 5th grade students are tested in the state of California in March on there physical fitness.
Our main goal is to build your child into a Fit and Healthy student!
We welcome all parents into our classroom if you have a passion for sports or would like to come participate or just watch, please feel free to come anytime.

- All students must have closed toed shoes.
- Running Shoes are highly recommended- they do not have to be expensive flexible sole and laces.
- Clothing- loose fitting clothing is best
- Water Bottle-clearly labeled with your name-bring it every day
- Great Attitude- we are going to have fun!

- 3 days or more must have a Doctors note stating the return date to physical activity
